It started several years ago when doing some work on my needle and injection phobic husband.
To ease his fear of injections I developed what I call the “Fabian technique”.
First, I place a numbing gel to help desensitize the area. Then, before the injection, I use a very tiny needle with a small amount of special anesthetic. He always liked it and when some of my patients expressed concerns about getting numb I started using this technique with great results!
Feel free to request the “Fabian technique” if you are at all concerned or apprehensive about injections.
